This week’s cultured chat includes the highest mountain in Scotland, the oldest living vertebrate and a discussion about poo! – You’ve been warned! Music includes songs from John Waite, Robbie Williams and Little Mix and your brain’s get challenged with the anagram and riddle quizzes.
This week’s cultured chat includes the group of mammoths who escaped extinction, how men are becoming better at making up and we say good bye to the Jade Rabbit for the final time. Music includes songs from Gabrielle, Eric Clapton and Shirley Bassey. The riddle quiz was apparently too simple, although the anagram caused some people difficulties.
After a bit of a shaky start – we all have them…well I do – this week’s show features songs from The Carpenters, JLS and The Script. We also have the usual riddle and anagram quizzes and cultured chat includes a pure white squirrel, the most shop lifted book in the world and discovery of the largest ever dinosaur footprints!
Another show packed with cultured chat and chilled out music. We feature songs from Adele, Steps and James Blunt and stories about sharks, the creation of a super hard metal and how the earth got its axial tilt. The anagram quiz is an item of food and the riddle includes something really light but which noone can actually carry – puzzled? then tune in and find out the answer in this week’s Snuggle Show on Wilson Waffling Radio.
This week’s show features songs from Bruno Mars, Take That and Leona Lewis. We also have the regular anagram game – but we have moved onto Food and Drink – and the riddle was guessed by quite a few people so I think it was probably too easy! The cultured chat included hobbies for men (which included maple tree tapping!), a heterochromic marsupial and an update from the Juno probe in a wide orbit round Jupiter. Along with the interesting facts…welcome to the Snuggle Show!
Back on target with this show – although I think you had two weeks of it playing as a recording on the station…ooops! Despite the hot weather we have been experiencing recently in the UK, we start the show with Cloudbusting by Kate Bush and have the NHS Choir singing Bridge over Troubled Waters. We have an update on the Juno probe as it orbits Jupiter and discuss if you match the personality linked to the day you were born by the 1838 rhyme. Don’t worry, we also manage to squeeze in the riddle and the anagram game – so much in one show! How do we do it!
Sorry for the delay in uploading this show but there is still plenty of time to enjoy the chilled out music from The Osmonds, ABBA, Will Young and Travis. The interesting facts include the unique event which happened on the 18th February 1979 and why should not use the word ‘pants’ if you were ever back in time in the 1880s! There is also the regular riddle and the anagram game, so why not grab a pen and pencil and listen in.
