My competition with Great British Bake Off continues as I broadcast at the same time – its a bit like David and Goliath, just without the sling and small stones! In this show the Waffling Topic is Picnic and we ask – what is your favourite sandwich filling. We look the invasion of the YellowJackets – I’m sure they were in The Hunger Games – and what to do if you find a venomous spider in your bananas. Music includes songs from the Village People, Kylie Minogue, One Direction and Britney Spears – definitely a dancing sort of show! We also look at the both the recent gaming and film news and play ‘Guess the Theme tune’.
Well, I had no chance! This week the Waffling Show went out at the same time as the first episode of the new Great British Bake Off series #GBBO! After an ingenious marketing campaign I managed to get some people to listen – don’t worry, no money exchanged hands! In this week’s show we waffled about the Great British Bake Off, Pokemon Burgers how a young seal managed to escape certain death from a group of Killer Whales! Music included songs from Bonnie Tyler, Alphabeat, Duran Duran and Europe and we had another theme tune in the ‘Guess the Theme tune’ quiz. If you were watching GBBO then now you can catch up with the Waffling Show.
Another waffle packed show including the film and the game waffle. In this week show we have songs from Cher, Madonna, Kelly Clarkson and Martha and the Muffins. We have the usual Guess the Theme tune quiz and see what happens when you give a GoPro to a squirrel and what Olympians have as an after sporty snack! All this and a little bit more in the Waffle Show!
No way! I lost internet connection with the radio server half way through the show so, if you were listening live, you would have had a bit of KC and the Sunshine band before I returned – but, like Foo Man shoo – I didn’t return! In this show we had a test to see how old your skin was, an new invention to keep avocados from going brown and a musical pillow. We had guess the theme tune and music from Blondie, Madness, Alphabeat and that classic Human League track – “Don’t you want me”. What more could you ask for from another classic waffling show!
Not even moving to a new server could stop the show going ahead this week! Music this week includes Blue, Black Box and Blondie – honestly the whole show does not just feature artists beginning with ‘B’. We waffle about the recent super hero trailers and have a look at what’s in the cinemas at the moment and including the future releases including the new Swallows and Amazons film! We have the usual gaming waffle and we discuss why you should throw those bathroom scales away, the apps which are draining your phone battery and the demise of VHS tapes! All this and guess the TV theme tune which no-one got – do you know the answer? Add it in the comments…
Well, I’m sure there is a saying that if something happens three times in a row then it has become a thing – or am I making that up? This week we waffle about the hot weather, what is happening in the gaming world and top films. Also – what are your favourite books and are you able to guess the TV theme tune from just the introduction? All this and some classic pop music including Wham, Bucks Fizz and Kelly Clarkson.
Yes it managed to make it to a second show! In this show we had music from One Direction, the hip gyrating Ricky Martin and the Five Young Cannibals. In the waffling segments we looked at the top five games currently being played, the new Overwatch Hero – Ana and how far would you go for beautiful skin? All this and the Top five quiz and Guess the Theme Tune! What more could you want from a radio show? – and don’t shout prizes!
Well it has returned!!! What was once called the Wilson Waffling Radio show has been reincarnated as the Waffling Show! Why? Well saying the Wilson Waffling Radio Show on Wilson Waffling Radio was a bit of a mouthful and slightly repetitious! So on this show we have Guess my Top five, the Gaming Waffle and, to replace the Disney half hour, Guess the Theme Tune! It was also National Kissing day – would you kiss in public? answer in the comments!!! All this and the usual cheesy pop music including Madonna, Busted and the white striped Adam Ant! If you missed it, you weren’t there and you were a quadrilateral!
